My fun life (english)

I was hated by people ever since I was born, especially my own family. They treated me like trash just I was born with a disability. And soon, people started to do the same as my family to me. Like once, a rapist tried to kidnap my little sister, but I step in to save her. The rapist shot me in the ribs and ran away before the cops came. My little sister scolded at me just because I got bloob on the driveway. My parents didn't wanted to take me to the hospital nor call 911. So I have to ride on my bike to the hospital which is 10 mintues away, while holding a rag over my wound and trying not to faint.
Five years ago I was walking with my grandma, and then this car popped out of nowhere going really fast. It was heading toward me and my grandma, so I pushed her out of the way and started to run, but then the car hit me right on.

Dear anonymous writer,

Thank you for reaching out to us.
What you are describing sounds terrible – and no parent should ever treat their kids in this manner. I assume that you live in the US or Canada, given “911”, but no matter where, you are entitled to seek help. Please, reach out to someone you trust and seek assistance. A relative or a teacher maybe.

Your parents are denying you the support they are obliged to give children, especially when it comes to medical care. You are 18 years old, old enough to move out and start an independent life of your own if needed. Please gather some information around social benefits that the State or the Community provide, so you will be able to get started on your own. Your local social administration office should also provide a free counseling session with regards to legal actions and therapy possibilities. Since what you describe are major incidents, you should really get all the support you can ASASP.

Take care, we wish you all the best.
Judith
